self-care /ˌselfˈker/ (noun) “The practice of taking an active role in protecting one's own well-being and happiness, in particular during periods of stress,” -Oxford Languages Dictionary Despite the definition above, we know that Self-Care means different things to different people- it can even mean different things to the same person depending on when and how it's practiced. At Queensbridge Apothecary, we practice & encourage #UnapologeticSelfCare. Which we define as un·a·pol·o·get·ic self-care (verb) "The practice of engaging fully and without shame, remorse, or societal restriction, in any thought, behavior, or practice that shows honor, acceptance, and love to your complete and authentic self," -Queensbridge Apothecary What does "Unapologetic Self-Care" mean to you? Are you practicing self-care? If so, how often? How do you feel before self-care vs. after you're done? Do you have a routine or switch it up each time? What are your go to products and/or rituals? Have you added any of our products into your self-care practices? We're curious to know how YOU self-care! Add your answers to the discussion below. If you're new to practicing "Unapologetic Self-Care" and need some inspiration to get you started, or if you're a seasoned pro looking for new ways to love on yourself, check out our "7 Ways to Love Yourself: A Week of Unapologetic Self-Care" blog post!
